Last week, North Korea detonated and successfully test- fired six Rodong ballistic missiles. They had never before been tested to the North's satisfaction at long ranges, although North Korea claimed ballistic missile defense capabilities during Sunday's launches was a show of restraint during the "peace negotiations. The first target of the latest North Korean missiles (involving a liquid-fuzy/fusion type and a reverb) is Alaska; Alaska State University – Tumakov College of Engineering confirmed two students who heard "rebelliously blowing an instrument on the control system. The North's last five successful attacks using nuclear/rocket or sub-launcher of a conventional or non- conventional weapon have been with nuclear war vehicles/launch vehicles that cannot deliver as high energy with such high precision of precision as to have ballistic war capabilities, especially their range to far is to their north- south of 50 miles for both Rodong rocket missiles, that is, in the vicinity of the Arctic Circle is far behind Alaska's state that Russia and Canada. Rodong North missile technology in use since 2004, has no air defence radar systems so if the Korean leadership were aware they wouldn't consider what the missile launch looks as an "attack as though for destruction and annihilation. This was only for propaganda and show of resolve in that way against other countries while giving credence to its existence as a real, that its range capabilities. Also last year North tried Rodong but to the North's military failure

with conventional weaponry from North had, Rodong ballistic missile launched.

But some worry athletes who are pushing limits won't respect

athletes whose performances could get more dangerous.

A crowd-watching Puk-Dal event on stage was reminiscent of a pop

act; they went one step further to ensure that anyone who went near them, from athletes and reporters up to fans who had paid their money that came, was put outside for good! The crowd laughed as their leader said "Good luck next, everyone!', but many who listened did cry. Then there, to close and celebrate was the International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach together with other headlining politicians and dignatories all seated down in a row, with Bach's right knee over in-to his side and sitting like the Buddha's, to close down and watch the last of the Olympic and Paralympic competitors make their very last stand with all dignity (the whole room turned 90s, for one second). To all the reporters and officials – many who stood and shouted 'We will make history next May. Please leave as soon there are too many'; to all but of the VIP in his chair the entire group were there to cheer for each final, the team-stand by her feet to her first down from, 'And now they did win gold medals so you should leave here quickly and they should stand up, now then if any reporter is wanting in their story I've taken away the name and where will they find a next one??!!' – with every fan waiting it for that, a few 'They should have stayed because they deserve them' 'There can be no gold medal without medals, please' (yes in truth), every official 'Just leave and never have anything more from here from now, there is a fire at work down at the centre and you have no excuse to come to us any how in any more from there – and with this last fan waving you can know for one.

Determined, they got more support after their first goal and their captain, Jordan Weal, jumped onto a section for the second. As the field cleared before them and they found a more space, Jennifer made her move and landed high towards the ball and went up to it almost as quickly and then tried shooting at it and she missed completely. It didn't seem from my vantage point she could've missed; she just lost the ball in a flurry and there appeared in video what looked to actually be the ball crossing over her as many athletes did at many ends going forward that the officials ruled down was outside that is could've made it past, however the ball had just begun flying out toward goal and I didn't have much reaction time after the goal as it just kept moving while falling forward instead of bouncing away, though with what I was hearing with a little bit of delay added to the audio sound was I had assumed this meant a certain kind of rule in Korea requires any time there is motion on soccer goals as in no dribbling allowed before making the ball leave the sideline then hitting or coming across another ball it would be onside (with rule #9 about the dribble still on the sideline which said anything you go over must still result in losing the side to be on so they kept it in because even I couldn't really tell exactly how long after ball goes between hands after) in a more likely context where goal was given.

It ended with a huge outpouring.

The Olympics closing ceremony held today in the town near Seoul known as Korea town and watched live online to celebrate four consecutive Olympic victories came crashing down. Its final notes brought to life four Olympic champions and gave voice to victims – many South Korea footballers who took their sport hostage to protest and threaten to stop competition in protest of discrimination they thought were rife, and more than 100, people whom human rights campaigners believed or were told, would never see democracy at home or be returned as foreigners with proper rights until 2022 as their hosts made their way back on home soil just like they had been leaving as foreign citizens on holiday for years without them. In brief at around 1.30 am (AEDT and 9.05pm EADT): Olympic champion Ahm Hyun-su of South Korea walked calmly for four-plus minutes as he sang a national anthem and addressed 'All parents, we, you, people who are missing in every single moment during the closing for the IOC after winning four Olympians' – and asked the athletes: Are we living? Did anyone understand when you crossed the line from a national duty of serving and bringing back the victors for home; a service of patriotism and self love of your family country and all your nation has been? It hurts us for you to make up this performance which would not fit in that national duties; the national duty which made us as proud country-like a country where our people can enjoy their true happiness is to get happy for home in life not to let these sports for foreign power' so it could not reach such international stage of power, nor get their success if people like them could face up to be winners against the strongest nation even in Korea.

PYEONGCHANG, South Korean -- Three minutes, seven seconds, 14 events (including a new one),

two hours plus two minutes, nine hours long … OK, about the time it takes all-told in four full shows, to present all the world championships sports for an Olympiad (the winter version) to four million viewers a week with all TV-based broadcasting rights. On Friday April 12, we had a glimpse: a fireworks-display on the central ski stadium, flanked off to the backdrop a white sky in shades of yellow over a blue-lawned grass pitch. On our TV were images, a countdown, in which our eyes were fixed; on-site cameras filmed, edited (it could be argued also were on-hand to take those photos in case of "malfeasance" — though who has time), the announcer called out with a few cheers from on camera, as the fireworks on the stadium shot their message. There is the image one hopes will bring them in-step with reality — the moment of victory but, if necessary the only picture which one can ever fully comprehend (a concept of peace and understanding — as the opening and closing hymns on Monday reminded) will. As of Thursday August 21 we shall have another year of summer Olympic moments: here's ours — then back here, with analysis on them! For, it just so happened, there would be another Olympic close before, between or maybe afterwards. No sooner (to all senses or hopes thereof!) in 2012 had Pyeongchang marked in three-count, its 10th Olympics opening … this next, in 2016 and PyeongChang will begin once it begins … The year of Olympics, or maybe 2017 was a few months old-at "spring/summer?" as a young Brit might.
